We’re on a mission to inspire furparents and furbabies to live their BEST life every single day. Inspired by the passing of my first Pomeranian- Kors- who left this world a lot sooner than any furparent would want, what helped me heal and has turned into our purpose was knowing I gave my sweet boy his best life every single day, right up until his last breath.
Although short, Kors lived a very full 7 years. I’m grateful I can have peace in my heart knowing I never said “we can do that tomorrow, or maybe another time.” If it would make him happy, I did it. Kors’ passing at a young age served as a reminder that tomorrow isn’t promised so it’s crucial to make the most out of each day, and to truly live your best life. This standard is a commitment I will always hold for all of my furbabies.
Taking my experience and care for Kors, I applied it to my own life. I realized I wasn’t giving myself the same standard. I immediately analyzed every single area of my life and wrote out what my ideal and best life would look like in each of those respective areas. I then promised myself to be committed to these new standards. It’s quite special when you can turn grief into gratitude and have it magically change your life forever. Kors taught me many things in the 7 years we shared together, with the most profound one being my purpose in life.
We share our lives authentically and unapologetically. We’re passionate about taking our knowledge and experiences when it comes to living our best life, and sharing it with others in hopes to provide inspiration, new insight and value. If any of our content, captions, newsletters or products help furparents and furbabies to live their best life, then we’re doing our job.
Now let me introduce you to who we are. My name is Deidre and I'm the extremely proud Dog Mom of the Happy Poms.
If you follow us on social media, then you know these three Poms are my absolute world and that we love creating content and modelling together. My purpose and passion is giving my furbabies their best life while also living mine, which we authentically and unapologetically share on our social media platforms.
I grew up and reside in Nova Scotia, Canada. I graduated University with a dual degree in Kinesiology and Education and I also have an Energy Asset Management diploma.

DEIDRE BRIELLE
Momager
I love to learn and teach so when I recognized that I could be of value and help others through my personal experiences and learnings of being a Dog Mom (health, food, supplements, toys, training, bonding, harnesses, car seats, grooming, ect), it was quite natural for me to start creating content surrounding these areas. I originally started The Happy Poms IG account to have a cute grid showcasing my favourite pictures of the squad, but it’s turned into something much more magical and fulfilling for me.
Our platform is constantly evolving, with a big vision, mission and purpose behind it. You can say I’ve also become a full blown social media nerd and lover. I’ve proudly cultivated a warm, inviting and positive energy to our page and I have the most loving community that I adore beyond words. We truly have so much fun creating content and engaging with our community, and we’ve landed the most incredible collabs, speaking engagements and UGC opportunities. To say I feel very blessed is an understatement. Aside from the Poms, my passions and areas of interest are health/ fitness, home decor/design and personal development/ spirituality.
Now, let me introduce The Happy Poms to you. They are three extremely photogenic Pomeranians with big, unique and individual personalities. They are all from the same breeder who is located just outside of Calgary, Alberta.

KLARA
Princess
First up we have Klara, aka, Klare Bear, aka Momma, weighing in at 3.5lb. She was born on October 26, 2013 and is a retired Champion show dog. I got her at age 5 when my breeder retired her and wanted her to go to a “furever” home. One thing is for sure, Klara is loving her retirement years.
Klara is the Queen Bee of not only the Pom sqaud, but our house. She LOVES to be given the princess treatment and being pampered- cuddles, affection, massages, being held, the list goes on. If she could, she’d be in my arms all day. She also requires a faux fur blankey on her bed and carseat. Klara is super friendly and LOVES attention. She’s very charming and will easily capture your heart. When it comes to her brothers, Klara can be very sassy, but this doesn’t detract from the love she has for them.
Next we have Riley, aka the Ry Guy, aka Ry Josie, weighing in at 10lb. Riley was born on April 6, 2018 and I got him when he was 1 year old. Riley has a heart of gold. He’s the sweetest boy ever, with the kindest, most loving and easy going temperament. He loves to play, cuddle, give kisses and he absolutely loves bones and toys. He also really loves his brother Kash. Riley is the type of dog who needs another dog as a sibling and together, him and Kash not only share the same Mom making them genetically half bothers, but they are also best friends.

KASH
Sweet & Spicy
Last but certainly not least, we have Kash aka Kash Money, aka Toe Beans. Kash was born on February 28, 2020 and weighs 5lb. I got Kash at age 2.5 years. Kash is a very good communicator and will let you know if he wants something or if it’s meal time. He is very sharp and learns new commands and tricks with ease. He bonded immediately with Riley which melted my heart. I use “sweet & spicy” to describe him because he has a very endearing personality but he’s also known for stealing bones right out of Riley’s mouth and getting into mischief. He’s the one I have to keep an eye on, if you know what I mean.
